The only way for one to find happiness during one’s life time is for one to acknowledge one’s own true nature, but one often abandons happiness by losing sight of one’s own true nature because one decides to devote all of one’s time and energy to securing one’s place in society. A false existence is one in which one relies solely on the acceptance of others to gain a sense of security. One must first find security within oneself by acknowledging one’s own weaknesses and strengths. Once one finds security in oneself, one will readily accept one’s place in society, because one’s place in society is all what one makes of it. One should be aware of one’s place, but one shouldn’t let it control one’s destiny. Rather, one should determine one’s place by making secure choices, which are true to one’s own nature. One who continues to search for happiness in the outside world will never find it, because happiness can only be found within one’s spirit. To many, the world seems like such a big place, so we instinctively look to the outside world for all of our answers, because if the world is so big, it must contain everything we are searching for. But we must search within ourselves to find what we are looking for. The knowledge that we are able to attain during our life times is knowledge that we have possessed all along. The individual is not so small. Each individual is as big as he/she lets him/herself be. Each individual spirit has the capacity to grow infinitely big. The body is not big enough to contain the spirit once the spirit grows to be as big as the universe. Once one discovers this, one will no longer have to search for answers in the outside world, because if the spirit is infinitely big, it contains all of the wisdom in the universe. To understand this is to also understand that all is one, and one is all. The world is not so hard to understand, if we assure ourselves that the world that we live in is as big as we make it. One is capable of accomplishing whatever one sets out to accomplish, as long as one does not allow oneself to be distracted by all the complications that arise in the outside world. The ultimate goal for all living creatures with a conscience is to experience happiness during their life times. Without experiencing happiness, life is worthless, and there is no reason to live. Love is the one great force that unites everything in the universe. To live without love is to live without hope. If we refuse to seek out the companionship of others we refuse to fulfill our purpose, so thus we lead a meaningless existence. To live a life without love is to live a life without purpose. One who has given up on fulfilling one’s purpose loses all passion. For example, one will continue to breath, but one will no longer value the practice of breathing. To attain true happiness is to be aware of one’s own true nature. One’s true nature is to love. To live a life of love is to live a life without fault. One who is full of love cannot be persecuted because there is no fault for which one can base one’s persecution on. To judge those who live amongst us is simply to isolate ourselves from their company. This action prevents us from gaining the knowledge and experience that results in eternal happiness and is possessed only by one who maintains an open mind and a willingness to understand many different perspectives, which become available to one through companionship with another on his or her own journey to spiritual completeness.
